Maintenance
Preventive (Scheduled) Maintenance: Doing regular check-ups before anything goes wrong. This includes basic chores like lubricating moving parts, cleaning filters, and swapping out worn belts on a set date or after a certain number of hours of use, etc.
Why Is It Important? Saves Money: It is much cheaper to buy a bottle of machine oil than to replace a blown-out motor.
Safety: Well-maintained machines are much less likely to malfunction and cause injuries to the people operating them.
Longer Lifespan: a well-maintained machine will last years longer than one that is ignored.
